The Clean Water
Products CWP 5040 is a unique, patented Whole Home Reverse
Osmosis System. This system produces water at the rate of
about 1000 gallons per day (about 1 gallon every 70
seconds), pressurizes your entire home and allows you to
have bottled quality water from every faucet.
The unit only
operates when needed. When you turn on the tap, a smart pump
draws the purified water out of the 130 gallon high density
polyethylene tank. The decrease in water level then causes the
float switch to activate a solenoid and the CWP 5040 starts
making purified water again until the tank is full. Once the
tank is full, the switch floats up and turns the solenoid off.
The CWP 5040 RO
system includes 3 (ea) reverse osmosis membranes and one
nanofilter membrane that operate on normal house water pressure.
The only maintenance is the replacement of a standard 10" slim
5-micron sediment filter and a 20" slim activated charcoal, also
called carbon block filter every six months. These filters are
available on this site. These are standard items and available
nationwide from any major vendor of water purification supplies.
One of the
outstanding features is the 1 horsepower Walrus Smart Pump which
can run at 110 volts. It needs a 15 amp fuse, uses less than
$10 worth of electricity per month in most cases and switches on
automatically when you open a water valve anywhere in the house.

Unit with a 200-Gallon Storage Tank
The Clean Water
Products CWP 100 with a 200-gallon storage tank is a unique,
patented whole-home reverse osmosis system, and designed for
homes or businesses on hard-water wells. This system
produces water at the rate of 2,000 gallons per day and
pressurizes your entire home and allows you to have bottled
quality water from every faucet.
The unit installs
outside the house or in the garage. The Walrus or Grunfos Smart
pump, attached to the top of the tank, is an on-demand pump that
senses water flow and kicks on automatically when you hop in the
shower, run the dishwasher or washing machine or open up a hose
valve. No need for a pressure tank.
The CWP 100 RO system
uses a 3/4 horsepower pump to push water through a 4" by 40" RO
membrane at 160 PSI. This unit removes hardness, salt, bacteria,
viruses, arsenic and other undesirable water pollutants and
carries them out with the reject water. The reject water can be
used for landscape irrigation.
The only maintenance
is the replacement of a standard 10" slim 5-micron sediment
filter and a 20" filter also 5-micron, every six months. These
are standard items and available nationwide from any major
vendor of water purification supplies.
The unit includes a
1-year warranty on all electrical parts. The units will give
years of satisfactory service. Units built over 10 years ago
are still in service. Once the customer tastes and uses the RO
treated water they would not ever want to be without it.

replacement guarantee on the Walrus Smart Pump.

| TDS meter gives digital reading of water quality
After long
suffering and searching, we found the best little TDS meter
on the market. This little sweetheart is essentially for
anybody who wants to find out if their water is high quality
or not. Just pop off the end cap, push the button on, stick
the probes into the water and you've got a digital reading.
Most domestic city water will read about 300 parts per
million of total dissolved solids. Anything under 100 is
usually the product of Reverse Osmosis.
